There's nothing special about today, just that when I left for work this morning I turned on my iPod and this was the first song I heard. It kinda made my day seem a bit brighter, in spite of the clouds and the cold...

I was thinking the other day about my trip to Rome next month, whether I should still go with everything that's going on there right now with the Romanians. Feels like I'm going to a war zone... Anyways, been talking to people about this and most of them said I should just go and not let myself influenced by what's happening. Oh, and try to speak as little Romanian as I can... God, why should I be afraid of being what I am? Why should I be ashamed of being Romanian? I know Italians are overreacting, and the truth is that out of 60 crimes only 7 are commited by Romanians, and most of them are gipsies. But this has taken on bigger proportions than it should have. Most of the "Romanian criminals" are gipsies and this affects Romania's image in a bad way. We should really do something to improve it...

On a more happy note, I just bought tickets to Madonna's concert on August 26th :).
